was founded in 1995 in Saaremaa, Estonia. Eurohouse is located in Hiiu County, Kärdla since 2008.
It is an independent, not for profit, non-governmental organization that was founded due to the necessity for projects coordinating and implementing organization. It was the time when the possibilities for international cooperation widened due to Estonia's integration process into the European Union.
Eurohouse is an organization with good international cooperation experience. It initiates, implements and coordinates common projects and involves donors and partners of these projects for the benefit of its members and social partners in the Baltic Sea area and other EU regions.
Eurohouse cooperation involves the following Baltic Sea area:
- West-Estonia and islands (Estonia)
- Norrtälje (Sweden)
- Southwest Finland and Archipelago area (Finland)
Eurohouse has initiated and implemented about 55 common projects for a total value of nearly 3,000,000 €. The projects involve regional development, environment protection, entrepreneurship, tourism, education, culture, etc.
Eurohouse activities have been noticed and acknowledged both in Estonia and abroad.
